Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept card payments via PayPal (Paypal page header and your statements will show Cricket-box, which is another trading name of Baggies). If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. On receiving your order we will confirm the International postage/shipping charges.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you do not wish to pay online, let us know and we can email a manual invoice for a bank transfer, however this may delay the dispatch of the order if not paid straight away.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us immediately and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, you will receive an e-mail, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
A standard charge of £5.99 will apply to each order to cover/contribute towards postage and handling.
Shipping on International orders will be quoted individually, once the order has been placed. Due to this International shipping prices are likely to increase when compared to the price given initially on-line.
We deliver your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 7 business days (excludes bespoke, personalised and made to order items). International orders are treated individually due to the complexity of the postage.
Any bespoke items, that require embroidering and/or personalising are not stock items and will incurr longer delivery times. Please allow 3 weeks before enquiring about bespoke club specific items. We do not keep stock of bespoke items.
Made to order items will be made once your order is received. You will be notified of estimated delivery times.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, payment is taken via PayPal, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
We will do everything in our power to ensure you enjoy shopping with us.
Cricket is an impact sport. In the unlikely event that your new bat is damaged during normal playing conditions then we will refer any complaint to the bat manufacturer on receipt of the original proof of purchase.
Due to the impact nature of bat on ball we cannot personally guarantee any complaint will be upheld by the manufacturer and any complaint may take a few weeks to investigate, however we can guarantee you our full co-operation at all times.
It is imperative that ALL cricket bats are prepared for use by following our guide on this (which can be found in the 'About Us' section) and by any guidance provided by the manufacturer. A bat that has not been 'knocked in' is more likely to split/break during initial use.
Bespoke clothing cannot be returned unless the item is faulty, it cannot be returned if an incorrect size has been ordered.
When viewing colours on a computer screen, sometimes the shading can vary form screen to screen and may be influenced by lighting, screen definition, tilting of the screen, personal interpretation, etc. We cannot be held responsible for colour misinterpretation when proofs and colours have been accepted by electronic means.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund (this applies to non-bespoke/non-personalised/non-made to order items only). Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty.
Any goods returned should be in a saleable condition. Personalised, bespoke or made to order items cannot be returned as they cannot be resold, as all items are bespoke. It is therefore imperative that the correct size is ordered and that you are happy with the colours.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
All embroidered badges require a .dst file, this instructs the embroidery machine what to embroider. All of our .dst files are digitised by prodessional UK based companies. Unfotunately, this is not always the case, we must make you aware that a poor .dst file will produce a poor embroidered badge. Also a badge designed to fit on a shirt chest area will not embroider a badge dsuitable to fit a cap (where the maximum workable height is around 60/65mm tall). If you provide us with an unsuitable /dst file we will inform you if it is not acceptable and will pass on any comments from our embroiderer. We cannot be held responsible for poor quality .dst files provided by customers. We will always work with you to find a solution if a problem arises.
Please note embroidered teamwear items can take up to 3 weeks to be embroidered during busy times.
