Hand made Birthday cards by Laura

In October 2025 my sister-in-law, Laura, returned from a family holiday abroad without a care in the world. 2 days later she was rushed to Queens hospital Nottingham with a bleed on the brain. It is a long, complicated story but she has had to have emergency surgery on her brain, the result being she has lost about 1/4 of her skull.

This has obviously had a massive impact on her life, some days struggles with basic tasks and obviously she can't work. She has started making cards again, something she hasn't done since her young 'arty' days. This provides a purpose in her life, helps prevent the boredom and hopefully will bring a few pennies in. Unbelievably, she isn't entitled to any financial help as yet. 

If you like the cards, please purchase via your club shop and all proceeds will go to Laura. She is currently waiting confirmation when she can have reconstruction surgery, in the shape of a new titanium shell, to protect her brain.
